I currently run marketing for High Alpha and work with all of our portfolio companies on developing—and sometimes implementing—their marketing strategies, including Octiv, Lessonly, Visible, Sigstr, ClearScholar, Zylo, Doxly, Structural, MetaCX, Anvl, Casted, Loupe, Relay, and many more to come

High Alpha is a leading venture studio focused on conceiving, launching, and scaling next generation enterprise cloud companies. We do this by uniting company creation with venture capital.

Salesforce

As a founding member of the Salesforce Research team, we provided data-driven insights to transform how businesses connect with their customers. We developed first-party research and used it provide insights for our audiences and drive demand for the company. Our findings were featured in keynotes, press, and in research reports. My work included The State of MarketingWearables in the Enterprise, The State of SalesThe State of Service, and The State of Analytics.

I was responsible for data analysis, content strategy, marketing research, statistical analysis, copywriting, product marketing and positioning, and presenting findings on-stage at Dreamforce.


ExactTarget

I began my career at ExactTarget as part of their Catapult Rotational Program. I worked on the corporate development, relationship marketing, content marketing, and mobile product marketing teams during my first 9 months. We were acquired by Salesforce.com in July of 2013 for over $2.5 billion, and ExactTarget is now the Salesforce Marketing Cloud

In 2014 I joined the Global Content Marketing & Research as a Content Strategist. I was the sole manager of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud (ExactTarget) blog network, publishing almost 1,500 articles a year.  On the ExactTarget and Salesforce content marketing teams, I honed my skills in content strategy, content development, demand generation, data analysis, web analytics, lead nurturing, and copywriting. We produced inspirational, interactive, and educational content to help marketers around the world power customer journeys that deliver exceptional brand experiences. While on the team I helped develop and launch a number of research reports including The State of Marketing Leadership, Twitter Engagement Benchmark Reportand Facebook Engagement Benchmark Report.


Orr Fellowship

After graduating with a marketing degree from Anderson University, I joined the Orr Fellowship and started working for ExactTarget as my host company.
